How do I export my transaction data?
Go to Settings → Export Data. You can export your transactions in CSV, JSON, or PDF format for any date range you choose.
Is my financial data secure?
Absolutely! PennyWise uses Face ID / Touch ID to protect your data. All information is stored securely on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We never access or store your financial data on our servers.
Can I use PennyWise on multiple devices?
Yes! Enable iCloud Sync in Settings, and your data will automatically sync across all your Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID.
How do I set up recurring transactions?
When adding a transaction, tap the "Repeat" option to set it as recurring. You can choose daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly frequencies.
What happens if I forget my passcode?
If you've enabled biometric authentication, you can use Face ID or Touch ID. Otherwise, you'll need to reinstall the app. Note that reinstalling will clear local data, but your data will be restored from iCloud if you have sync enabled.
Can I customize spending categories?
Yes! Go to Settings → Manage Categories to add, edit, or delete categories. You can also choose custom icons and colors for each category.
